The Mitzvah Campaigns

The Ten Mivtzoim are ten essential mitzvah campaigns introduced by Moshiach to help every Jew connect to G-d through daily action. These campaigns focus on core Jewish practices like tefillin, Shabbat candles, mezuzah, Torah study, charity, kosher, and more.

The Mitzvah Campaigns

The Ten Mivtzoim are mitzvah campaigns launched by Moshiach to bring holiness into daily life and strengthen every Jew’s connection with G-d. Each campaign focuses on a key mitzvah, including tefillin, Shabbat candles, mezuzah, Torah study, charity, and more. These simple yet powerful actions help spread light, unity, and prepare the world for the full revelation of Moshiach.

Tefillin

Jewish men and boys aged 13 and up are encouraged to put on tefillin every weekday. Tefillin are small black boxes with Torah verses that are placed on the arm and head, helping a person focus their mind and heart toward G-d each day.

Shabbat Candles

Jewish women and girls light candles before sunset every Friday to welcome the Shabbat. This mitzvah brings peace, blessing, and spiritual light into the home and the world.

Mezuzah

A mezuzah is a scroll with Torah verses placed on the doorpost of every room in a Jewish home. It serves as a constant reminder of G-d’s presence and protection.

Torah Study

Every Jew, regardless of background, should study Torah regularly. Even a few minutes of learning a day brings G-d’s wisdom into life and strengthens our connection to Jewish values and truth.

Jewish Books in the Home

A Jewish home should be filled with holy books, such as a Chumash (Bible), Tehillim (Psalms), and a siddur (prayer book). These books bring Torah into daily life and make the home a place of light.

Kashrus (Keeping Kosher)

Eating kosher means following the dietary laws of the Torah. It brings holiness into everyday life and helps create a deeper spiritual sensitivity.

Taharas HaMishpachah (Family Purity)

This mitzvah brings spiritual blessing to Jewish marriage. It includes the laws of mikvah and family separation, promoting harmony, holiness, and respect in the home.

Ahavas Yisroel (Love Your Fellow Jew)

Loving every Jew as yourself means being kind, respectful, and helpful. This mitzvah strengthens unity and prepares the world for the final redemption.

Chinuch (Jewish Education)

Giving children a strong Jewish education is the foundation of the future. Teaching them Torah and mitzvot ensures that the next generation will live with strength and purpose.

Tzedakah (Charity)

Giving tzedakah (charity) daily, even a small coin, brings blessing and kindness into the world. This mitzvah helps us care for others and opens the heart to compassion.

Ask us anything

The Ten Mivtzoim are ten mitzvah campaigns started by Moshiach to help every Jew do basic mitzvot. These campaigns make it easy to take action, strengthen Jewish identity, and prepare the world for Moshiach.

Every Jewish man, woman, and child. Some mitzvot are for men (like tefillin), others for women (like Shabbat candles), and many apply to everyone. The goal is that every Jew does at least one mitzvah, no matter their level of observance.

Moshiach started the mivtzoim to reach every Jew, wherever they are. He wanted to make it easy for every Jew to do a mitzvah, even just once, and to bring holiness into everyday life. This is also part of preparing the world for the final redemption.

Every Jew is encouraged to do what they can. Even doing one mitzvah, like putting on tefillin or lighting Shabbat candles, has great value. The goal is to increase step by step.

You can visit a Chabad House or ask a local rabbi or volunteer. Many people are happy to help you put on tefillin, hang a mezuzah, learn Torah, or check your kosher kitchen. Help is always available.

Yes. Each one is a real mitzvah commanded in the Torah. Moshiach didn’t invent new mitzvot — he simply organized and promoted key ones that every Jew can start doing right away.

The goal is to bring mitzvot into everyday life, reach every Jew with love, and prepare the world for the coming of Moshiach. These campaigns bring light, peace, and holiness to individuals, homes, and communities.

Start with one mitzvah. Put a charity box in your home, learn a bit of Torah daily, or light Shabbat candles. Then take the next step. You can ask for help, visit a Jewish center, or study more. Every small action matters.
